Vineyard Eastern Regional Conference - July 8-11
Every 2 years the Vineyard churches in the eastern region gather for a time of worship, fellowship and training. The conference is being held in the Poconos at the Fernwood Hotel. If you can only come for one day, Wednesday is the day. Rich Nathan will be speaking twice, we will have fantastic worship with like 1500 other people, there are seminars in the afternoon of specific areas of ministry. Habitat for Humanity - 2nd Saturday of each month, 8a-5p
We are looking for volunteers. Please look for the sign up on the connection card. Our next date is Saturday, July 12, from 8am to 4pm.
Youth Group Paintball Outing - Saturday, July 12 (all day)
The youth group's heading to PA for a little skirmish. The cost will be $25/person, plus money for food and paintballs. Contact Josh Taylor for more information.
Bolivia Mission Trip (July 23-31)
We will be heading down to Bolivia at the end of July. Phil Chorlian, Patty Thomas, Janet Spagna, and Jon White will be going. Please prayer for the Holy Spirit's power to be released, for protection and for the effectiveness of our trip.
Worcester, MA Missions Trip - August 14-17
We're going on a missions trip to Worcester, Mass. from Thursday night (6p) after work to Sunday night (9p). Worcester is only about 3 hours away. We are helping Lucas Glenn, who attended our church several years ago, with a church plant he has started in urban Worcester. (www.the-woo.org) We will be repairing an old Cathedral building that the church meets in, doing Holy Spirit Ministry with people who have been marginalized and are in need, and encouraging the folks he already has coming to the church. We'll camp out in the church and eat meals with local folks from his church. This will be an awesome time to see God work in powerful ways. We would like to have about a dozen people go. No special skill or training required, although construction skills would be useful. Please sign up on the Connection Card if you are interested in going on this trip.

Is God calling you to serve him as a leader in his church? Are people looking to you for answers from the Bible, or for wise counsel, or to explain the Gospel to them? Then you need to be trained to act like a leader, think like a scholar and love like the Lord. Vineyard Leadership Institute (VLI) has been designed to integrate training in Bible, theology, ministry, leadership and spiritual formation with a standard of excellence. Justice Journal
Our new monthly newsletter, the Justice Journal, is available in hard copy at the resource desk. This newsletter will highlight one issue of injustice per month with action steps and additional reading references. This month's issue is about fair trade in conjuction with the recent switch to fair trade coffee at the church. It also has a book review for a Social Justice related book.

Helping Hands
We are forming a team of people who are interested in using the talents God has given them to help others. Weneed both skilled and unskilled help. Examples of projects could berepair of plumbing, masonry, electrical, carpentry or roofs. Thosewilling to help should sign up by emailing Jon White. As needs arise, we will contact you to see if you can help. Please alsocontact Jon if you (or your friends) have projects where you need a helping hand.
