what should I expect when I visit?
First of all, we are a "come as you are" church, and most people choose to come casually dressed. After parking in our large, onsite parking lot, come into the main entrance which is located at the side of our building. Once you come in, feel free to make your way to our café and enjoy a free cup of coffee and a bagel.
If you have children anywhere from infants to 5th grade, you can check them into our Kid's Church Program. We also have a junior high class which meets during the message on sundays. Obviously, if your child feels more comfortable staying with you, that's fine with us, as long as he or she is fairly quiet and non disruptive.

Our service starts with one call to worship song which is followed by the weekend message. What we're looking for are relevant and practical truths that can help us connect with God and navigate through some of the complexities of post-modern life. These messages usually last about 30 -35 minutes. Guests are usually surprised at how relevant and helpful these messages are to their daily lives.

prayer ministry
Immediately after the message, a member of the prayer ministry team comes to the front and announces the specific things they felt God wanted to do during the prayer ministry time. If you have anything else that is not specifically mentioned that you want prayer for, we would love to pray for you. Prayer Ministry team members are trained to pray in such a way that the power and reality of God is released into the lives of the people they are praying for. The folks who receive prayer usually experience a strong sense of comfort and inner strength from the Holy Spirit.
We also have some great stories of people being healed physically during ministry time. This doesn't happen all the time, but it's pretty cool when it does. Our prayer ministry page has some great true stories from people in this church about how God has healed them.
People who want prayer can go to the hallway behind the stage and receive it, while the rest of us stay in our seats and worship. While we would certainly encourage you to come out for prayer, don't have to feel any pressure if you just want to stay in your seat.

After the message, we have about 25 minutes of contemporary worship as a response to the message just heard. We have three full bands with some really wonderful musicians and singers who are on our rotation. Our worship music has a definite “rock” feel to it. We usually invite people to stand when we begin, but feel free to sit if you like.
You'll notice that our songs are sung directly to God and you'll also notice that lots of people are experiencing a strong connection with God while they worship. That's really important to us.
